Sanima Hydro and Engineering (P.) Ltd signed a contract agreement with Peace Energy Company Pvt. Ltd. to conduct Feasibility Study of Upper Kabeli Hydropower Project (19.5 MW) on 14th May 2018. The project is located in Sirijunga Gaupalika of Taplejung district, Province No.1 in Nepal. It has been planned as a run-of-the-river (RoR) type scheme with installed capacity of 19.5 MW, design discharge 16.29 m3/sec, gross head of 147 m.
