Sanima Hydro and Engineering Pvt. Ltd signed a contract agreement with Makari Gad Hydropower Limited for Due Diligence Audit on Project Cost Variation of Makari Gad Hydroelectric Project – 10 MW on 5^th February, 2023. The project is located Darchula District, Sudurpaschim Province of Nepal. It is a run-of-river hydropower project having installed capacity of 10 MW located at in Darchula District, Sudurpaschim Province of Nepal. Geographically, the project area is located between Longitudes 80°52′ 47″ E to 80°50’33” E and Latitudes 29°48’03” N to 29°46’54” N. The project comprises weir, intake gravel trap, desanding basin, forebay, penstock chamber, penstock pipe, powerhouse and tailrace canal. The project utilizes gross head of 925.21m, design discharge of 1.35 m³/s at Q_47% resulting into an installed capacity of 10 MW.
