Sanima Hydro and Engineering (P.) Ltd signed a contract agreement with Happy Energy Pvt. Ltd. for Detailed Engineering Design of Upper Sankhuwa Khola Hydroelectric Project (40 MW) on 7th April, 2021. The project is located in Sankhuwasabha district, Province No.1 of Nepal. It has been planned as a run-of-river (RoR) type scheme with an installed capacity of 40 MW, design discharge of 9.75 m3/sec, and gross head of 481.69 m.
