Sanima Hydro and Engineering Pvt. Ltd. has signed a contract with Bigu Hydro Venture Pvt. Ltd. to provide consulting services for Detailed engineering design of the Pegu Khola Small Hydropower Project, a 3 MW Run-of-River (RoR) scheme located in Dolakha District.
The license boundary of the project stretches within Latitudes 27⁰50’18” N to 27⁰49’22” N and Longitudes 86⁰04’59” E to 86⁰03’21.5” E. The major components of the project are Diversion weir, Intake cum Gravel Trap, Approach Canal, Desanding Basin, Headrace pipe, Forebay, Steel Penstock Pipe, Powerhouse and Tailrace. The project has installed capacity of 3 MW with design discharge of 1.95 m3/sec and rated net head of 182.22 m. The project is capable of delivering 16.245 GWh of energy annually to NEA substation (Singati Lamosanghu, 132/33 kV, 30 MVA) at Singati of Dolakha district.
