Sanima Hydro and Engineering Pvt. Ltd. has signed a contract with Alampu Jalvidhyut Bikas Company Pvt. Ltd. to provide consulting services for Detailed engineering design of the Mathillo Sagu Khola Small Hydropower Project, a 10 MW Run-of-River (RoR) scheme located in Dolakha District.
The license boundary of the project stretches within Latitudes 27⁰50’42” N to 27⁰53’00” N and Longitudes 86⁰05’00” E to 86⁰06’56” E. The major components of the project are Diversion weir, Two Intakes (Kharta and Kothali), Gravel Trap, Approach Canal, Settling Basin, Headpond, Penstock Pipe, Powerhouse and Tailrace. The project utilizes gross head of 418.5 m, and total design discharge of 2.99 m3/s (Kharta: 2 m3/s and Kothali: 0.99 m3/s) resulting the installed capacity of 10 MW.
