Sanima Hydro and Engineering Pvt. Ltd. has signed a contract with Happy Energy Pvt. Ltd. to provide consulting services for the construction supervision of the Upper Sankhuwa Hydropower Project, a significant 40 MW Run-of-River (RoR) scheme located in Sankhuwasabha District, Koshi Province.
The Upper Sankhuwa Hydropower Project is set to be developed along the left bank of the Sankhuwa Khola River in Silichong Rural Municipality-1, situated in the northwestern part of the district. The project area is geographically positioned between the coordinates 87° 01′ 04″ E to 87° 03′ 58″ E longitude and 27° 31′ 50″ N to 27° 33′ 59″ N latitude. With a design discharge of 9.75 m³/s and a gross head of 481.69 meters, the project aims to generate clean, renewable energy to support Nepal’s growing electricity demand.
The primary scope of work involves coordinated construction supervision of the Upper Sankhuwa Hydropower Project, carried out in close collaboration with the client’s team to ensure successful project execution.
