Sanima Hydro and Engineering Pvt. Ltd. has signed a Contract Agreement with Phedi Khola Hydropower Company Pvt. Ltd. on 10^th December 2023 for Due Diligence Study of “Phedi Khola Hydropower Project (4.3 MW)”. It is a Run of River (RoR) project located in Bhojpur District, Koshi Province of Nepal. Geographically, the project area is located between Latitudes 27⁰22’13” N to 27⁰23’06” N and Longitudes 87⁰00’29” E to 87⁰01’38” E. The major components of the project are diversion weir, intake structure gravel trap, settling basin, headpond portion, steel penstock pipe, bifurcated pipe, tailrace and powerhouse. The project utilizes gross head of 180.50 m, net head of 171.58m and design discharge at Q_40% of 2.96 m³/s.
