Sanima Hydro, a leading hydropower company is seeking for skilled applications from highly motivated, result-oriented, team player and competent Nepalese citizens for:

1. Position: Mechanical Engineer

Openings: One (1)

Job Station: Head Office with frequent site visits

Academic Qualification and Other Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
• Proven work experience of 2 years or more in Mechanical Engineering, preferably in Hydropower or Renewable Energy Projects
• Ability to work efficiently on Operation, Maintenance, and optimization of Hydropower Systems including Electro-Mechanical and Hydro-Mechanical equipment

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical systems in hydropower projects, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance
• Design hydro-mechanical component of Hydropower for successful implementation including co-ordination with the Contract and site team
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve system performance and reliability
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation as needed
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance safety and efficiency in operations
