Sanima Hydro and Engineering has been able to secure a Consultancy Service Contract for Construction Management and Supervision of Tamakoshi V Hydroelectric Project (99.8 MW) as a local Sub Consultant. Dolsar Engineering Inc. Co., Turkey is the Lead firm in Joint Venture with Changjiang Survey, Planning, Design and Research Co. Ltd., China for this project. The Contract was signed on 2nd December 2022. The Project is located approximately 170 km northeast of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal and approximately 40 km away from the district headquarter of Dolakha District- Charikot Bazaar. The whole project area lies in Khare, Orang and Lamabagar Village Development Committees. As per new provincial provision of Nepal, the project area lies on Gaurisankar and Bigu village councils. Geographically, the project area is located between Longitudes 86° 14’ 30” E to 86° 10’ 30” E and Latitudes 27° 49’ 50” N to 27° 45’ 00” N The project utilizes gross head of 174.00 m, net head of 159.10 m and design discharge of 66 m³/s with an installed capacity of 99.8 MW.
