Sanima Hydro and Engineering (P.) Ltd signed a contract agreement with River Side Hydro Energy Pvt. Ltd. for Headworks & Headrace Tunnel Resizing and Powerhouse Area Layout Modifications of Tamor Khola – 5 Hydropower Project (37.5 MW) on 16^th May, 2022. The project is located in Taplejung district, Province No. 1 of Nepal. It has been planned as a run-of-river (RoR) type scheme with an installed capacity of 37.5 MW, design discharge at 45.0 m³/sec, and gross head of 100 m.
