Sanima Hydro and Engineering (P.) Ltd signed a contract agreement with Mewa Developers Ltd. for Due Diligence Study of Siwa Khola Hydropower Project (9.3 MW) on 20^th June, 2022. The project is located in Taplejung district, Province No.1 of Nepal. It has been planned as a run-of-river (RoR) type scheme with an installed capacity of 9.3 MW, design discharge at Q_42.07% of 6.2 m³/sec, and gross head of 177.51 m and net head of 173.33m.
