Sanima Hydro and Engineering Pvt. Ltd. has signed a contract agreement with Sanima Jum Hydropower Limited for Construction Supervision and Design Support During Construction of Jum Khola Jalvidhyut Aayojana (56 MW). Jum Khola Jalvidhyut Aayojana is a Run-of-River (RoR) project located at Dolakha District, Bagmati Province of Nepal. Geographically, the project area is located between the Latitudes of 270 56′ 40″ N to 270 58′ 23″ N and the Longitudes 860 12′ 47″ E to 860 15′ 00″ E. All project components are proposed at left bank of Jum River in Bigu Rural Municipality, Dolakha District, Nepal. The project comprises diversion weir, intake, undersluice, gravel trap, approach tunnel, underground settling basin, headrace tunnel, adit tunnel, surge shaft, ventilation tunnel, penstock shaft, underground powerhouse, underground switchyard (GIS) and tailrace tunnel. The project utilizes gross head of 254 m and design discharge of 25.45 m3/s resulting into an installed capacity of 56 MW.
