Sanima Hydro and Engineering (P.) Ltd signed a contract agreement with United Mewa Khola Hydropower Pvt. Limited to conduct Detailed Engineering Design, Tender Document Preparation and Design Support during Construction of Mewa Khola Hydroelectric Project (50 MW) on 31st January 2018. The project is located in Taplejung district, Province No. 1 in Nepal. It has been planned as a run-of-the-river (RoR) type scheme with installed capacity of 44 MW, design discharge 33 m3/sec, gross head of 191.8 m.
